Heuristik: Jurnal Pendidikan Sejarah (HJPS) is a peer-reviewed journal providing authoritative sources of scientific information for researchers and teachers in academia, research institutions, educational institutions, and government agencies. This journal published by the Department of History Education, the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Riau, which is published twice a year in February and August. It contains articles of research or study of literature in the field of History Education. Heuristik scopes include studies of history education in the form of strategies, learning media, learning models, as well as evaluations (assessment), educational values, historical heritage in historical learning, etc. The articles are written in Indonesia or English.
